The other one was younger and really surprised us. On our third visit we encountered two hostess. The food is great and they have amazing bartenders and. My boyfriend and I discovered it in January and quickly became fans. I really wish I was writing a better review. Overall, I was happy with the service, the food, and the quirky atmosphere! Would definitely eat here again, and recommend this brunch expeirence to anyone. It may be a better deal to just buy a whole cake, if you're willing to go for that (I think the whole cakes are like $40-50, but that's just what I think I remember seeing on the menu, could be wrong). They were a little small for their prices ($10/slice), but they were soooooo delicious. We also ordered a couple of cake slices to go because their bakery items are famous, including a slice of the lemon rosemary cake and the italian cream cake. Good sized portions, and just really delicious. The only "issue" I had is as a student I wish the prices were a little lower, granted I think they're pretty typical for a nice brunch place! I ordered the lobster benedict, and my mom got the Chez burger which our server said was his favorite thing to get there. Our server (Justin) was really great, he made jokes with us and was very attentive even though it seemed like he had a lot of tables to wait and it was particularly busy that day. With our reservation though, we were seated within 5 minutes. First note, I would definitely recommend making reservations (we did), because I heard the hostess on the phone with someone trying to get a place that morning and she said the wait would be. I came here with my mom for brunch one Saturday morning. Mexican Restaurants for Large Groups in Downtown.Restaurants with Outdoor Seating in Austin.
